Youth Groups Committee News

Shabbat Youth Groups (SYG) have been fabulously reformatted by Stuie Reichman. In its' current form, SYG are for children in nursery school (or are about to enter) through the Fifth Grade. Groups are a little less formal over the summer as Stuie has chosen to join his family every Shabbat up in the mountains, but we will be back in our full glory in August.

The New Shabbat Groups are as follows:

Group Yocheved - Older Girls - 3rd Grade and Up

Join us as we Daven together in Shul from Brachot till we take out the Torah with group leader assistance, followed by a Parsha Program, Games and Fun.

Group Golani - Older Boys - 3rd Grade and Up

Join us as we Daven together in Shul from Brachot till we take out the Torah with group leader assistance, followed by a Parsha Program, Games and Fun.

Group Tziporim - Younger Boys and Girls - 3 years old to 2nd Grade

Special Tefillah and Parsha Program, Games, Stories, and Fun

Coming Soon! - Group Perachim (sunny days only at this time)

Toddler Shabbat 10 AM - 11 AM
Shabbat Games, Songs and Story Time

Programming this year has been amazing. If you were not able to participate in the L'ag B'Omer Scavenger Hunt and Shavuot Color War, you missed out on a lot of fun. Just ask the kids - with many bringing friends from other parts of Teaneck and neighboring communities. Please come and check us out as we continue to build the most exciting programs in town.

Finally, we are always looking for help. If you, or someone you know, is in the 6th - 12th grade, and wants to be a SYG leader, please pass their name along to Valerie Levin. Parents are also encouraged to participate to help make sure our groups remain solid and fun. Any great ideas should be directed to Ali Blech, Valerie Levin, or Stuie Reichman.
